Stargardt & Associates, LLC is just one of the many bad acting contractors that came to Bay County, Florida following Hurricane Michael. I obtained an arbitration award for every penny that my client asked for and in doing so established that this contractor lied, acted fraudulently, and acted in bad faith performing little to no work and going so far as to create fake invoices, over charge, and utilize my client's credit card to rent equipment that was used on other projects. The Arbitrator awarded my client $62,232.53 in damages plus attorney's fees and costs of $18,702.00 which was confirmed by the Bay County Circuit Court. It was my pleasure to obtain this judgment for a very deserving client who can now pursue collection and a claim for payment with the State of Florida Homeowner's Construction Fund.
